Who can participate?

This study is for adults 18 years of age or older who have been diagnosed with advanced or metastatic NSCLC and have a specific mutation in the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene.

You can join the study if you:

  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Have been diagnosed with advanced or metastatic NSCLC
  • Have a specific mutation in the EGFR gene

Additional eligibility criteria will apply.

You cannot join the study if you:

  • Have a history of uncontrolled illness
  • Have a history of active interstitial lung disease (ILD)
  • Have a history of significant cardiovascular disease (eg: congestive heart failure)

What to expect as a participant
  • In order to join this study, patients must go through a screening process and meet all eligibility criteria
  • Eligible patients will be placed based on an investigational medication + oral study medication
  • Participants will know the investigational medication combination they are receiving
  • Study medication will be given in recurring 28 day cycles
  • At study visits, participants will have their health evaluated through various health exams and tests study
  • Participation may last up to 3 years, if the participant wants to continue and the study doctor believes it's safe
What are the potential benefits and risks related to this study
  • Patients may receive benefit from participation in the study but that is not guaranteed
  • Study participation may help researchers learn more about NSCLC and the investigational medicine
  • Participants could experience one or more side effects during the study
    • Some potential side effects are noted below
  • During the study participants will be closely monitored for any side effects and changes in their health
  • Participants will be instructed on how to manage the potential side effects, such as skin rash, through the use of a lotion, moisturizer, solution, and antibiotic
