Study overview

The COPERNICUS study is evaluating an investigational medication for adults who have been recently diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

If you are eligible, you will receive investigational medication + oral study medication.

Study medication will be given in recurring 28-day cycles.

Study goals

Study doctors want to learn more about the efficacy and safety of the two investigational medication combinations when they are given to patients with advanced or metastatic NSCLC.

The results of this study may provide more information about investigational medication combinations.

Condition

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the most common type of lung cancer. Statistics show that 85 out of every 100 cases of lung cancer are NSCLC. This type of cancer happens when the cells in the lungs start to grow and divide out of control and form a mass called a tumor.

What will happen in this study?

You will be informed about the investigational medication combination you are receiving before you start the study.

The investigational medication will be given as an injection under the skin. You will receive 4 injections during the first cycle, followed by 1 injection per cycle (once every 4 weeks).
